of cloning experiments in mammals.
Meeting 4.- Fraud
and ethics in scientific publications.
Topic 5.- Law, living
organisms and new biomedical technologies.
Meeting 5.- Rights
and duties of the members of a scientific research lab.
Topic 6.- Genetic
therapy. Obstacles for the development of genetic therapy. Viral and non-viral
vectors. Application of the genetic therapy for cancer and diseases of
the nervous system.
Meeting 6.- The judgements
by equals. The scientific publications. Publish or perish.

Course characteristics

For the topics and meetings
presentations, different people will be invited, with a pluralistic criteria.

Besides the program, bibliography
will be recommended for each topic and meeting.

For the meetings, previous readings
or recommended bibliography will be encouraged.

Qualification of students will
be made based in: participation in the meetings, elaboration of personal
or group work and an oral presentation.
